Snow fell across the Midwest early this year and heat in the hangars started to become a thing. Brrr. Airplanes are tucked away. The rigging loft is busy as we inspect and repair every canopy, line and container for all locations. Aircraft for 2026 is being evaluated. Lots to do.
2025 was nearly flat for us on tandem jump count. Skydive Kansas City saw increases but not quite enough to make up for slightly softer numbers at Skydive Indianapolis and Skydive the Rock in Beloit, Wisconsin. Fortunately we were braced for another so-so year numbers wise and made it a point to elevate our game plan in other areas that might strengthen us long term. We are thrilled with the progress and excited for 2026.
Probably the biggest story from 2025 is that Daryl Starr earned his A-license in record time, followed quickly by his B-license before season end. Michelle Gilbert ran the AFF program at Skydive Indianapolis and involved numerous AFF instructors in the process. Many “baby birds” were hatched and the excitement going forward could not be much higher.
We have some exciting developments ahead for The 2026 Experience. Stay tuned!
